Connecting Dinners are Back!

(Albeit they are taking a different form in our Covid world.)

As we have missed seeing one another on a regular basis for the last few months, we wanted to create some connecting opportunities for smaller groups of people to gather and get to know one another better. So, we’ve divided the larger Denver metro area into 7 different geographical areas that we’re calling Neighborhoods, and we’ll be hosting connecting events in each of those areas this July and August. We hope it will be a way for us to get to know those who live in proximity to us, but anyone is welcome to go to any of the events offered.

For at least the month of July, instead of our traditional dinner, we are going to be hosting picnics (where people bring their own food), ice cream socials (where ice cream is pre-packaged), or dessert. They will be limited in number this summer (no more than 30 people) to follow state and local guidelines for physical distancing. We hope to move back to full connecting dinners as soon as it aligns with county health recommendations.
Our first three events are already up and ready for you to register!!

  • Sunday, July 12th - Ice Cream Social at the Orrange’s House (15 people)

  • Tuesday, July 14th - Ice Cream and Pool Party at the Waters’ House (30 people)

  • Friday, July 24th - Dessert at the Nikkel’s House (30 people)

(Don’t see one in your geographical area? Don’t worry!! They are in the works and you’ll get the first invitation before it goes out to the entire congregation.)
