Meet Some New Members!
We are always excited to welcome new members into our Wellspring Family! We believe that God calls us to commit to a local church Body and we are so excited that God has brought these individuals into our community. Read below to learn more about some of our new members and make sure you introduce yourself and welcome them next time you see them!
Joe Lovin
My name is Joe! I'm 25, born and raised in Iowa, I love music, adventure and Jesus! I wanted to join Wellspring because I see this church being the hands and feet of Jesus, and their attitude regarding heavy topics is one of welcoming and understanding that diversity is one of the things that makes the Church beautiful!
Rachel Parmenter
My name is Rachel Parmenter, I’m a 24 year old teacher and I moved to Denver about two years ago. I have struggled greatly in Denver with finding a church, or even being able to walk through the doors of a church after several hard experiences in a row working at other churches. However, as soon as I walked through the doors of Wellspring I knew I was home and could finally heal. My passion for the “big C” church has been reignited and I’m forever grateful for Wellspring, my Lifegroup, and faithful community. I’m so, so proud to become a member of Wellspring!
Cliff & Julie Stockdill
Cliff: Julie and I have been married for 28 years, and we have a son and daughter who are in their early twenties. I want to join Wellspring because I like the bible-centered teaching, and how Wellspring is so committed to providing tangible service and outreach to the immediate community in Englewood.
Julie: Married to Cliff, and we have two adult children. I enjoy reading, sewing, gardening, and taking walks. I’m excited to be a member of Wellspring because of its rich liturgical worship and heart of Compassion.
Channing Hurst
My name is Channing Kimball Hurst, and I am married to current Wellspring member Tyson Hurst. I spent about a year watching the Wellspring live-stream while I lived in California and Tyson and I were dating long-distance. Once I moved to Englewood in November 2019, I was very excited to be able to join the Wellspring church services and events in person. I was raised in Catholic and Episcopalian faiths, and I am excited to be a part of a church that includes some of those same traditional elements. I love being a part of a church that cares for all people and emphasizes community support. In my short time attending Wellspring, the people and the lessons I have experienced have already made positive impacts on who I am and how I live in faith. I am excited to be a part of the Wellspring Church community!
Mackenzie Batson
Hi, my name is Mackenzie! I am currently a student at Denver Seminary and am studying counseling. I am originally from Indiana, and I enjoy baking for others and going on fun adventures. I have enjoyed coming to Wellspring for the past year and am excited to get to know people better.
Doug & Renee Chambers
Hello, we are the Chambers! We are a blended family of all boys, ranging in age from toddlers to teenagers. We enjoy the outdoors, family time, and worshiping with the community of Wellspring.
Mary Puckett
I'm a nomad from the southeastern United States with stops in Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee and most of my time spent in the piedmont of North Carolina. I started attending Wellspring online in the summer of 2020 knowing that I would be moving to Denver in November. I have been impressed with how Wellspring embodies worship, formation and mission in every part of her being. I get to be a graduate student again at Denver Seminary pursuing a MDiv after a decade or so long career coaching soccer at the youth and collegiate levels.
