Foundations & Catechism

In the Youth and Family department, some of our most meaningful interactions with students happen during our discipleship cohorts. These are intentional learning groups of students designed to interact with different aspects of the Christian faith.

This spring, we will be holding our Foundations course for 7th and 8th grade students to engage with content based on the Anglican Catechism, and this can also lead to the student participating in Confirmation. For the past several years, we have held these cohorts in partnership with Trinity Anglican; it has been such a blessing to interact with fellow students and youth leaders from another Wellspring Network church.

This spring, for the first time, we have purposefully scheduled Foundations to be at the same time as our 5th and 6th grade gatherings and the adult Catechism class. Not only are we very excited about the alignment with these other discipleship opportunities at Wellspring, but we are especially thrilled to offer avenues for different family members to engage in aspects of the faith in specific environments, all at the same time!

If you would like to learn more about the Foundations course for 7th & 8th grade students, or how your family can be involved, please contact Brian Foth [brian@wellspringcolorado.com].
