Hello Wellspring!

Wow, it has been quite the year! 2020 has been a constant whirlwind of pivoting, postponing, and changing plans. One of the things we have had to adjust is our annual Catechism class. In the past, we have hosted our Catechism class over the fall and spring, but because of COVID and our building move, we were not able to start class this fall.

We are so excited to be offering Catechism again in January! This class is one of the primary ways we offer people an opportunity to learn more about our Anglican tradition and dive deep into the main tenets of the Christian faith. We will cover the topics of Anglican History, the Gospel, the Sacraments, the Apostles’ Creed, the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, and God’s calling and mission in our lives. We also will be bringing in a variety of teachers, including pastors from Wellspring and teachers from Denver Seminary and Frontrange Christian School. And at the end of the class we will have a special Confirmation service hosted by Bishop Ken Ross! We would love for you to join us for this time of learning and connecting!

This class will run for 15 weeks, starting January 13th, and will end in the first week of May. We will be meeting every Wednesday (excluding Ash Wednesday and the week before Resurrection Sunday), from 6:30-8pm to share snacks, coffee, and dig into the Anglican Catechism.  We will also be offering both an in-person and a Zoom option. If you would like to learn more, please email me at maddie@wellspringcolorado.com

At the same time as Catechism, the 5th & 6th Grade Ministry and the 7th & 8th Grade Foundations class will be offered, so this could be a great opportunity for your entire family to engage discipleship!

You can register here or through our app or website.

I hope to see you there!
