He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing.

Deuteronomy 10:18

Caring for vulnerable children has always been woven into the very fabric of Wellspring’s identity. It has been our joy to be called home by many families and individuals who have been on a journey with either Foster Care or Adoption.

Get involved with this important work.

  • Join The Fost/Adopt Group @ Wellspring!

This special group has been meeting on the second Saturday evening of the month for many years right here at Wellspring! It is geared towards anyone in the Foster care or Adoption journey, whether you are interested in becoming a foster family, adopting a child, or. whether you were raised in the system and/or adopted yourself!

Meetings are from 6pm to 8pm, and childcare and dinner are provided!

  • Support Families in Need

Here are a few incredible resources that speak to how we can enter in to the Faster Care/Adoption journey with a posture of support and love towards those in need.

Questions about how to find families WITHIN Wellspring that need your support? Email Sarah Siegler at sarah@wellspringenglewood.com.

  • Attend our upcoming event!

Join us on Monday, October 21, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Wellspring Church for an important Foster Care Info Night in partnership with Project 1:27. Whether you’re considering becoming a foster parent or looking for ways to support foster families this session is for you! We’ll explore the current foster care system, steps to becoming a foster parent, and how you can make a difference by supporting those who care for vulnerable children.

We can all play a part! Even small acts of support can make a lasting impact on a child’s future. Whether you’re single or married, you’re welcome to attend, and we encourage you to bring friends and family.  Enjoy dessert and coffee as we come together to learn, share, and be a part of the solution.
