Side by Side Ministry Information Meeting

As Wellspring grows, so do the care needs of our community. Many of those care needs are met by others in our Neighborhoods, Life Groups, or Gospel Friendships, but there are other times in life when specific personal care is needed. Wellspring is committed to walking alongside community members in these times, which is why we are creating a care team, called Side by Side.

The Side by Side team will be made up of trained community members who connect with those in need of care, support, encouragement, or whole-person care and who enter a short term, structured individual relationship with those in need. This relationship will involve coming alongside another individual in prayer and friendship, while possessing an eye for triaging and directing this person toward a long-term context of growth in the body of Christ here at Wellspring.

Do you have the gift of mercy? Do you desire to be present with people who are hurting? Have you been affirmed in your caring gifts? Are you a source of encouragement to the weary? We are looking for people who are interested in this kind of ministry! We will be hosting an informational meeting to talk more about Side by Side, what the commitment would be, and what training will look like:

The meeting will be on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30pm at Wellspring’s {NEW} building. Please register here if you plan to attend. You can email Tara Malouf at tara@wellspringcolorado.com if you have any questions.
