New Life Groups
Do you ever find yourself wondering: Who Are My People?
More than ever, we need to know who our people are. We need people we can do life together with, and encourage each other in kingdom life with vulnerability and grace. At Wellspring, our first pathway of belonging is in our Neighborhoods (if you want to know more about your neighborhood, contact tara@wellspringenglewood.com), however, the breadth a Neighborhood provides is not the same as the depth of a Formation Lab or Life Group. Neighborhoods are designed for everyone to know they BELONG at Wellspring and can CONNECT; Formation Labs and Life Groups are a way we say “yes” to a close-knit group of people who commit to a process of FORMATION.
Formation Labs:
Formation Labs are short term classes (3-7 weeks) where we can focus on a specific topic together in community. This Fall we have two Formation Labs that are part of our Disciple-Making Pathway.
Looking at Jesus :: Join us for this 6 week Formation Lab where we’ll look at the life of Jesus in the book of Mark. Since our discipleship begins in Jesus, so we continue in him! This class is for everyone - those who have known Jesus for a long time, those who are exploring Jesus, those who might be deconstructing faith, and those who are not sure what to do with Jesus. There will be plenty of conversation and room to ask questions! Begins Tuesday, September 13th from 6 - 8pm and continues each Tuesday for 6 weeks. Rooted :: Spiritual Practice for Everyday Life :: Join us for this 5 week class as we explore spiritual practices that keep us rooted in our relationship with the Lord. Class begins on Tuesday, October 25th from 6 - 8pm and continues each Tuesday for 5 weeks. Go here for more information and to register for the class.
Life Groups:
We believe Life Groups are vital to our life in Christ as it provides a greater chance to be deeply known and grow together as disciples. Life Groups are a 8-9 month commitment to gathering with one another on a consistent basis to seek the Lord together. AND, we have a Life Group fair coming up on Sunday, September 11th between first and second services! Information about each Wellspring Life Group will be out in the lobby (and outside). It will give all of us a chance to see the scope of each Life Group, to ask questions of the leaders, and to express interest in joining a group! New groups are being formed, so please join us to see if there is one near you!
