The Return of Neighborhood Connecting Events!

Imagine the smell of coffee and pancakes filling a kitchen, the giggle of little ones playing on a trampoline, and the sight of neighbors reconnecting around a table outside. Last week, this was the reality in Wellspring’s SouthCentral Neighborhood at the Hartwig’s house as they hosted our first Connecting Event of 2021.

It was an amazing pancake breakfast with plenty of nutella and whipped cream to go around, but better yet, it was about a re-gathering of a neighborhood after a year of disconnection and isolation. And so... Neighborhood Connecting Events are back!! In case you are not familiar with our connecting events, they are gatherings in which we can get to know others who live in proximity to us over a meal (or some sort of food), and grow deeper in knowing each other. We are hoping to have at least one event per month in each neighborhood. You can go here to see what we have scheduled so far, but come back often as we’ll be adding events throughout the Spring and Summer.

Also, this Spring and Summer we want to bring back our Eight Around the Table events. These are gatherings around a meal, dessert, wine and cheese, etc. that allow us the time and space to connect on a deeper level with a small group of people and have great conversation! If you would be interested in hosting an Eight Around the Table event, please email me through this link.

It’s going to be a season of re-gathering and re-connecting!! We’d love for everyone to come join us for these opportunities in our Neighborhoods!!
