Children's Ministry
Lead teachers foster belonging by knowing each child and guiding the class through the Bible lesson, activities, memory verse and prayer.
Helper teachers foster belonging by learning kids’ names and helping them feel seen, known and loved, while supporting the lead teacher with the lesson, activities, crafts and games.
Nursery volunteers help care for our little ones by providing a safe, nurturing environment.

Youth Department
Sunday School Leads guide their class through the weekly lesson and conversation, fostering student formation through relational and biblical teaching.
Sunday School Helpers support the class by assisting with activities and discussion, cultivating a learning space where students can belong and grow.
MS/HS Mentors assist at youth group every Sunday by leading small group discussions and fostering belonging through relational engagement in youth activities.

Community Life Department
Greeters serve on Sunday mornings as the initial welcoming presence to the church, using their gift of hospitality to embrace others, offer help when needed, and answer questions.
The coffee team practices hospitality by preparing and serving coffee/tea on Sunday mornings, communicating to the congregation that they are welcome, seen, known and loved.

Operations Team
Safety Team Members receive updates from the Safety Team Leader before their shift, then serve as eyes and ears on the ground—covering assigned areas, assisting with needs, addressing concerns and supporting the congregation with care.
Safety Team Leaders support and supervise the Safety Team by relaying updates, addressing concerns and coordinating with the Assistant Operations Director before each service and throughout the year.

Worship Department
Chalice Bearers assist in serving the blood of Christ during Communion, one of the central acts of our corporate worship.
The Crucifer carries the cross in and out of the service, symbolizing Christ leading us into worship and sending us back into the world on mission.
Prayer Ministers pray with and for God’s people during Communion.
Scripture Readers proclaim God’s Word during worship, helping us hear His voice through Scripture.
Table Guild volunteers prepare and clean up Communion, set the table, and assist the Deacon, helping create space for this central act of worship.
Ushers serve on Sunday mornings by facilitating the collection of the Offering and the receiving of Communion.
The Audio Operator manages live sound during services, ensuring clear, balanced audio and collaborating with the worship team to support a meaningful worship experience.
The Video Switcher Operator manages live video feeds and transitions during services, ensuring a smooth, high-quality experience for both in-person and online viewers while coordinating with the tech team and camera operators.
The AV Camera Operator captures key moments during services, ensuring smooth, well-framed footage and working closely with the tech team to support a high-quality visual experience for all.
The AV Screens Operator runs ProPresenter to display lyrics, sermon notes, and media during services, coordinating with the tech team and worship leader to ensure smooth, timely visuals that enhance worship.
Musicians use their gifts to lead the congregation in worship that is authentic, beautiful, Spirit-filled and rooted in the Gospel.

Compassion Department
1:1 and Prayer Providers offer care through listening, prayer and resource referrals, helping create safe spaces and ongoing relationships at the Well.
Food Pantry Guides walk with guests as they shop, offering help, monitoring portions and building relationships in a low-pressure, generous environment.
Floor Floaters spark conversations with guests to help them feel loved and pursued, while staying flexible to step in where needed and keep an eye on the space.
Greeters welcome people at the door, provide a safe presence, share any programming updates and help new guests find their way.
Desk Attendants warmly welcome guests, gather check-in details and help maintain a watchful presence over the Well, alerting staff if anything seems off.
Podium Attendants call names, pair guests with 1:1 volunteers, track who has been helped and stay aware of past relationships to ensure smooth, efficient connections.
The Meal Team prepares, serves and cleans up warm Sunday meals, then joins our friends at the table to share in community over lunch.
Pantry Unload/Stocking Team helps unload the Wednesday food shipment, sort items and stock shelves, fridges and storage to prepare for Sunday—there’s a role for everyone, no matter their mobility.
