Get to Know Our New Interns!

We are so excited to be welcoming in another group of interns this year! Although so much of our life and ministry together as a church looks differently this year, our commitment to raising up and equipping men and women as ministers of the gospel has remained. Please join me in welcoming Abi, Claire, and Micah onto our staff team, and pray for God’s blessing and anointing to be upon them.

Abi Schnell

Hey y’all! My name is Abi Schnell, and I am so excited to be interning with the Community Life Team this year. I am a fifth-year senior at CCU studying theology. I have been longing to be involved with ministry ever since I was in first-grade, and am blessed to see my love for it be expressed in many different ways throughout my life. I have been attending Wellspring for six months now and am so excited to call this place home. My passion is for people and community, and cannot wait to see all God is going to bring about this year!

Claire Christian

I’m from Colorado and have grown up here in the Denver area. I am beginning my junior year at Colorado Christian University, majoring in Worship Arts, and studying voice. In addition to voice I’ve also studied piano, cello, and guitar. I love the outdoors, hiking, paddle boarding, and taking in the views of God's incredible creation! I also love spending time with friends and family. To further my education, I am responding to the call that God has given me for ministry. Ministry has always been something I have been passionate about and I feel that God has called me to work in the church. I am overjoyed to be called into this internship and to be engaged further in my walk with Christ. I am thrilled to be interning at Wellspring church, and am eager to see what God has in store for me here and how he will lead me to do His work.

Micah Morris

Hello!  I'm Micah Morris and I am very excited to be engaging as the Youth and Family Intern this year. I'm originally from California but I moved out to Colorado in 2014 to attend Colorado Christian University. I am pursuing a Master's in History through the University of Edinburgh's online program. Volunteering with Flood inspired a passion for young people in me and I am very excited to get to work closer with that ministry. I have been a member of Wellspring for many years now and I am pumped to be engaging in a part of the calling God has for my life.
