Our New Home :: Timeline and FAQs

Many have reached out and asked some very good questions about our new home. Have we moved yet? What’s the current mailing address? How much work is going on before we can officially run all of Wellspring Church from the new location? If you’ve found yourself asking these questions, you are in the right place!

Timeline

Currently, we are in the midst of what we have started to refer to as the “Fix Up Phase.” In order to fully move our operations to 3885, which include our offices and administration, the Well, and Children and Youth Ministries, as well as preparing the sanctuary for moving our Sunday services inside this fall, much of the building needed a bit of a “facelift” as well as a technological infrastructure upgrade. Luckily this can be achieved with some simple carpet, paint and some TLC from our contractors and team. Crews are busy every day at 3885, and work is moving very quickly. Check out some of these photos to see how things are looking!

We hope to be fully moved out of 4300 (our old facility) by September 30th. In the mean time, our staff will live with one foot in our old location and one foot in the new.

FAQ’S

  • If I schedule a meeting with someone at Wellspring, where will we meet? The short answer is…we don’t know. Make sure you get clarity with whomever you are meeting with as to WHERE you are meeting in the month of September.

  • Whats the plan for outside church? Y’all know it’s gonna get cold right? Yes…we know. And we are prepping like crazy! The City of Englewood has allowed us to host 175 people for indoor services, which is currently the plan starting Sunday, October 4th. But as with all of our plans throughout this season, that date is “penciled” in…not “sharpied” in. More info on service times, as well as logistics of worshipping inside, coming soon.

  • This looks like a huge remodel, not just a “fix up.” Will there be more work in the future? The work happening right now is accomplishing some preliminary goals that make this building useable for us in the short term. Much of the building was dilapidated and unusable without some major cleanup, and much of it was unsafe (especially our children’s rooms) without fixing some key issues. Also, there was very little office space for our team which is why we are converting what used to be a daycare on the east side of the building into useable office space. We are currently working on plans for a full sanctuary and foyer remodel, which we plan to have ready to share with you in Advent.

  • Whats the mailing address? Where can I send a donation? If you are comfy donating online, thats always the easiest route. But if you want to send a check (or anything else for that matter), you can send mail to our new facility at 3885 S Broadway, Englewood, CO 80113.

  • This is crazy! How can I help? This question has been asked many times, and we are so THANKFUL! Because of our current “Fix Up Phase” the building is a bit of a mess right now. Carpet has been pulled up in many locations, the walls are wet with paint, electrical wires are hanging everywhere, etc. So it’s not a very safe place at the moment for us to be hosting many volunteers. We anticipate needing some help with the final move and cleanup of this space closer to the end of September, and you can check out this article from Tara for more information!

  • How’s things going with the food pantry. Do you still need help/more food? See this article from Mike right here.

  • Can I stop by and say hello during the week? I would love a tour of the new digs! We would love to meet individually with you and give you a tour anytime, but we ask that in the short term we limit the “random drop by.” There is so much going on here that if everyone were to stop by at once, it would be crazy and dangerous. If you want to setup a tour, you can shoot us an email at info@wellspringcolorado.com. And don’t worry…we will be all settled in by October and then you can stop by anytime you want.
