Youth and Family Employment Opportunity
This year has been a special time for the Youth department, finding new and ever-changing ways to connect with students. We have enjoyed the ups and downs of this year, and want to share an update about our team with the Wellspring Family. Catherine Sandgren, who has spent the past year serving high school students and families, just recently accepted an exciting employment offer with Denver Institute for Faith and Work. She has been interning with them during her time on the YFM staff at Wellspring, and this will be a wonderful opportunity for her to continue working with their organization in a staff role. We are so grateful for her time working with students at Wellspring, and we are thrilled for her as she takes the next step in her career. We pray for blessings as she works with the Denver Institute, and as she continues to be a part of the Wellspring family.
Her departure has caused us to evaluate the needs of our students and families, and we have decided to add the role of 5th & 6th Grade Ministry Coordinator to our team! This role will work directly to lead our growing 5th & 6th grade ministry. We first created a specific Sunday School class for this age this past January to meet the needs of our 5th and 6th grade students. It has since grown to include summer park days, and now mid-week evening programming focused on connecting, fun, and discipleship. Thank you!
